In 2009 I began contributing film reviews and previews to local Edinburgh radio station, Leith FM, which in turn led to the recording of my first feature for BBC Radio Scotland’s Movie Café in January 2010.
For this I attended the Slapstick 2010 Silent Film Festival in Bristol and interviewed actor Paul McGann and Aardman Animations Peter Lord.
In addition to radio, I took part in a series of podcasts following the 2009 Edinburgh International Film Festival, where I discussed films such as Terribly Happy, Mary & Max, Moon and Wide Open Spaces.
I also run two audioboo accounts. My personal account is a place for me to publish interviews or topics which relate to my work or personal interests. The second is for film website, ReelScotland, and mainly features interviews.
As well as speaking on radio/podcasts, in May 2010 I was invited to give a lecture on DIY Film Reviewing for the 2010 Dumfries & Galloway Film Festival while I also gave talks on the benefits of audioboo and on e-copywriting for all your audiences in October 2010.
